Cauliflower with Onion and Tomato

INGREDIENTS

1 cauliflower
1 onion
2cm of fresh ginger peeled
1/4 cup of water
5 tablespoons of vegetable oil
4 cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
Dash of cayenne pepper
1 fresh green chilli sliced
1 medium tomato with seeds removed and chopped
1 tsp salt
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 tsp garam masala

METHOD

  1. Chop cauli and soak in water for 30hr or so.
  2. Blend onion, ginger and water to make a paste
  3. Heat oil and fry garlic and cauliflower for a few mins
  4. Remove from pan and set aside.
  5. Add onion paste to same pan, fry for a few seconds, then add cumin, coriander and tomato, stir fry for a few mins.
  6. next the turmeric, cayenne, green chillie, lemon juice and salt.
  7. Now the cauliflower and stir fry till its cooked.
