About Me

I am an obstetricians wife, mother of four, grandmother, cake artist and much more. 

I was inspired to write this blog by my niece, Kelsey, who simply said, "Aunty….you need to write things down."

I am a child of a migrant who was taken out of my country for the sole purpose of gaining an education. We were not encouraged to learn to cook.

I grew up in UK and was taught home economics in school, where I made my first fairy cake and sausage roll. From that point, I was hooked.  

I aim to simplify things and explain how to achieve fantastic results without much effort, using everyday ingredients and without having to purchase every piece of equipment under the sun. 

It won't be just cakes and baking, but I’ll be giving away all my tips and trick on living with an Obstetrician, raising four kids, quick recipes for great baking and cooking, travel and much more.
