Deep Fried Fish Steaks

INGREDIENTS

4 Spanish mackerel steaks
2 limes
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp white pepper powder
Oil for frying. 

METHOD

  1. Combine the juice of the two limes, turmeric, chilli powder, salt and pepper in a fairly large dish. 
  2. Place fish in marinade, cover with glad wrap and leave in fridge for up to 24 hrs. 
  3. Heat oil in a non stick frying pan over a medium high heat. 
  4. Place fish in pan and cook for 4 mins each side. 
  5. Serve with lemon wedges and a salad.
