Deep Fried Fish Steaks
This dish is best eaten fresh, but does well when reheated. Great for when you need dinner in a hurry!
Note: This dish is gluten-free and dairy-free
INGREDIENTS
4 Spanish mackerel steaks
2 limes
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp white pepper powder
Oil for frying.
METHOD
- Combine the juice of the two limes, turmeric, chilli powder, salt and pepper in a fairly large dish.
- Place fish in marinade, cover with glad wrap and leave in fridge for up to 24 hrs.
- Heat oil in a non stick frying pan over a medium high heat.
- Place fish in pan and cook for 4 mins each side.
- Serve with lemon wedges and a salad.
